This September, For the 7th consecutive year, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Come join me. You can ride, you can donate, you can cheer us on! Last year our team exceeded all goals and raised more money than ever!

We ride in memory of Beau Stanley our great nephew who died from cancer before reaching age 3. He would be in college this fall but for cancer.

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

TRIBUTE DAY

A bittersweet time for me. It's been nearly 20 years since Beau died. The most courageous little boy you can imagine...he would not back down and fought cancer hard. What a life he would have had but for that dreaded disease. Today his picture was again put up in Time SQuare for the 7th consecutive year. I pray for a day when we don't have to ride for Beau...and that no child will ever die from cancer. We will do our part and hope you will support us. For we will Never Back Down! #BeauLives

For the 7th year

This started as a simple tribute to the short life of Beau Stanley. It has become more than that as we are reminded that no child should have to die from cancer. We can do something. We can raise money for cancer research. We can make folks aware that the funding for childhood cancer research needs to be increased. We can long for a day when cancer is cured. Help us again this year. We are gonna do our part. We are going to ride over 1000 miles. Join our team, support our cause
