Cooper Abbott

Once again, my ride and fundraising effort is in memory of Cooper Abbott, grandson of one of my dearest friends. In 2017, Cooper lost his seven year battle with cancer. He was 9 years old. Cooper was artistic, athletic, and quick to smile. In this picture, Cooper was raising money himself to fight cancer. He wasn’t a quitter, and I know he’d like us to continue the battle for him. As Cooper went through his struggle, I learned how underfunded childhood cancer research is and the lack of proven treatments that are safe for young children. Please help change that! Please donate to develop better treatments and to find a cure for childhood cancer!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
