Grief comes in many ways. To some it is sad and emotional, others it is anger or burying themselves into work. Then there are those of us who don’t know what to do. That’s where my best friend John helped me. He knows how passionate I am about biking and that a couple of years ago I biked 800 miles when his daughter (12at the time) was diagnosed with cancer. My mother has always been an inspiration and rock in my life. Whenever I needed something she was always there. The best memory I have of her is driving down lake road through the small towns and just enjoying the view and have true heart to heart conversations. When mom and dad moved to Florida she came down with lung cancers and Multiple myeloma. She has been fighting cancer ever since. Unfortunately a short time ago she lost her battle with cancer and our family is still coming to grips with it. This challenge is in remembrance of you mom and hopefully strengthen our whole family, love you all!! Bob
