Gail Lawrence

Gail was my mother who I lost at a young age to melanoma. She was a specialized teacher focusing on students that needed help in key life skills (math, reading, speech therapy, etc.) to enable them to attend college or in general have a more successful day-to-day life. It was her way to instill confidence in all that she helped and enable a world full of possibilities mentality. Beyond that, mom kept her communication open so that any students could reach out for help whenever they needed it throughout their entire life. Children are truly our future and should not have to deal with cancer in addition to their other life challenges. Please help us put an end to this disease to give the world of possibilities back to our youth!

My fourth year participating thank you all who donated previously but the fight is not over yet!

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
