My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.

New bike! Great day!
13 Sep 2025Today I got to ride my new bike. Well, it’s a 2017, but it is new to me. It’s a townie E bike. But you basically have to pedal the whole time which was my plan to do especially during this challenge. I’ve been struggling because of my asthma, but I have to tell you today was amazing. I was able to go up over two viaducts like there were nothing at all. It was amazing. I usually average 10 miles an hour. But today with my E bike I did 12 to 13 miles an hour. I rode 15 miles. In just a little over an hour. I think I was grinning the entire ride. I have now gone 78 miles of my 100 miles for the month of September and today is only the 12th.
How awesome is that!
