My co-worker Todd Clauer recently passed away from cancer and I want to take a moment to honor the incredible person he was. In so many ways, Todd was simply a perfect human being. He loved his family deeply—he was a devoted husband and a truly amazing dad. Todd was a true friend of the Earth. He cared passionately about protecting the environment and lived in harmony with nature. Todd was also an avid cyclist, so it feels only right to dedicate this ride in his memory. I’ve never met anyone quite like Todd. I wish I could be more like him. May his memory be a blessing. This ride is for you, Todd.!

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
