I lost a great friend and person to this horrible disease. I never really understood the whole impact of her passing...until I became a parent. I think about her often and still miss her. Riding for you Holly Peterson.

With this being my 8th year, I’ve also met kids who have or are in the middle of this battle. My heart aches for them. I also ride for them so maybe someday, they can go back to being a kid with no worries!

I have also have many family member who are currently battling or have lost their battles to cancer.

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Right now, over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
