I have been hesitant to leave the Eisenbahn Trail, after three people in my church last year were in serious bike accidents. I've done a little riding elsewhere, but often use the sidewalks to avoid car collisions. A friend of mine recently found out her 6-year-old granddaughter has cancer, and getting those updates makes my riding and raising money for this cause all the more pertinent. “HI, Barb! THANK YOU, SO MUCH, FOR SUPPORTING THIS GREAT CAUSE! I actually biked my longest ride of the summer just this morning (21 mi). I am not feeling super sore, so I should be able to get in shape for the challenge in September. I babysit during the school year, which means I need to get my 200 miles in after the kids get picked up at 4pm. The evenings are much shorter in September so I have to be able to pump harder than I do these days. The support for the cause keeps me motivated. Thanks, again!! :)”
