This year has been a roller coaster for sure. Three months ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and in less than three days I was under the knife. This meant that my chances for doing the challenge this year were pretty low.

However, after the removal of most of the tumor and a good path to recovery, I am ready to continue to fight against kids' cancer and take part in the Great Cycle Challenge for the sixth year! I'm sure that what I have experience is nothing compared to what these kids go through. So this year I'm raising the bar to $1,500 and officially opened my first team ever! CADENCE FOR KIDS!

I do this for a single reason, so that kids can live their lives, instead of be fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
