We're praying for 14-year old Lilly Holmes and her family as they navigate this difficult journey they’ve just begun. I’m also riding again for 10-year old Callum diagnosed with leukemia in 2024, and 4-year old Evie Perez fighting Metastatic Neuroblastoma since 2023. I'm thankful that survivor David Maehs is enjoying the life of a normal 14 year old. And, I'm thankful for the precious memories left by sweet Kaygan Blanchette, Farrah Fabian, Kali Ann Leone, and Braden Strebeck. God bless these families.
My Story
In September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to help fight kids' cancer! Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So, I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer. We're riding to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve, and we believe that any one individual can make their personal impact to fight cancer and save little young lives...
People of all ages, abilities and from every state across the country set themselves a personal riding goal and challenge themselves to pedal to fight kids’ cancer. This year the challenge will take place during September.
In 10 years, our community of riders from all 50 states has ridden a total of 33,817,103 miles, and together we’ve raised $72,646,876 in support of research to develop better treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

This year, my goal is to ride 100 miles in honor of recently diagnosed Lilly Holmes, in honor of Evie Perez, and Callum who continue their fights, in honor of survivor David Maehs, and to honor and keep the memories of Kaygan Blanchette, Farrah Fabian, Kali Ann Leone, and Braden Strebeck alive. These are/were all friends of the family.
