My Story

Hello Family and Friends,

2025 marks my FIFTH year riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer—and I’m as passionate as ever about this mission!

Every year, I’m deeply moved by your generosity, encouragement, and support. If you’ve donated or cheered me on in the past, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope you’ll consider supporting me again this year—either by making a donation or joining the challenge and cycling with me to raise awareness and funds.

Here’s why I ride:

Cancer is the #1 disease killer of children in the U.S. These kids are fighters, and they shouldn’t have to face this battle alone. As a cancer survivor myself, I can’t imagine the pain and fear a child and their family must endure. That’s why I’m raising funds for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund—to help develop life-saving treatments and one day, find a cure.

This year, I’ve increased my riding goal to 200 miles in September—a challenge I’m excited to take on, especially since my asthmatic lungs are having a great year!

Want to honor a child you know who is fighting cancer, has survived, or was lost too soon? Please share their name and story on my Facebook page—I’d be honored to dedicate one of my rides in their name.

Every donation—no matter the amount—makes a difference. All funds go directly to research efforts, and all donors receive documentation for tax purposes (donations can be anonymous if you prefer).
