My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because in February 2017 at the age of 17, our son was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. He may not look like a child, more like a young man, because he is, but still at the beginning of life. The hard part for us? He understood and knew exactly what was going on, and to witness his heart sink was a crushing blow for us.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
