Miya Woody and Isabelle (Isa) Martinez

Miya was a beautiful, strong, young lady who lost her fight to Anaplastic Pleomorphic Xanthoastrocytoma, a type of brain cancer at a young 13 years of age. As with previous years, I will ride 13 miles for each year Miya blessed her family and friends. Isa Martinez is a beautiful young lady who will be celebrating her 20th birthday this September. She was diagnosed with Papilary Thyroid Cancer October 2018. Although she has been fighting this horrible desease, Isa was determined to graduate high school, and was active in dance throughout high school. Each year I plan a ride on Isa's birthday to celebrate her. Please join me by donating whatever you can to the Great Cycle Challenge to support childhood cancer research.

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
