My father has been Fighting CLL for several months, but is doing better every day. This too shall pass. Doctors say he is in remission at this point.

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

    Thank you to all those who donated yesterday! We raised $481, which was then matched by GCC

    I am getting close to the mileage goal I set

    Once I reach that goal, I will be raising the mileage

    If you can donate twice my goal, surely I can ride more miles!

    Surprising to many, I was stuck by a car last November in a crosswalk. My C7 vertebrae was fractured and I was left with several herniated discs. Cycling is my passion, I would not give it up for the world.

    Hopefully my passion for cycling inspires others to stick with their dreams no matter what comes their way

    I have rode 246 miles in 10 days. I am pretty sure I can more than accomplish the 400 miles in one month.

    So with that being said, if I exceed 400 miles, I will raise the mileage of my goal to reflect this.
