Sandra Bland - Krenzer
Sandra is the kindest woman you will meet, a woman who shows such passion and determination in everything she does. . I was honored to meet her this past Christmas through a local group of women who play bunco and also a part of a ladies luncheon group. A Couple of months later I heard the words NO-ONE wants to hear, news that unfortunately Sandra had been diagnosed with Cancer; but that didn’t stop SANDRA. I decided immediately that this year I was going to dedicate my cycling to not only a strong woman but a brave woman! One who I can call a friend. Please help me in finding a cure for cancer by supporting my ride this September. I am pledging to ride 200 miles in 30 days, as well as trying to raise $1500 towards the fight for a cure. I AM inspired by Sandras strengths and for that, this year I am RIDING FOR SANDRA STAND ⬆️ UP TO CANCER !! Together, We CAN and will find a cure!
My Story
This September, for the 6th year I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Those should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
This event has always challenged me. Just being told that friends in my life who are fighting cancer, so now I am more than ever DETERMINED to succeed and complete 200 miles in 30 days !
Please support me by making a donation toward $1500 goal, to give these kids and all those who are fighting giving the brighter futures they deserve.
