This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? I have a few reasons...

Right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it, so I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer (and hopefully all cancer).

I lost my grandpa to cancer. I know it was hard for him to go through it, and it was hard for us seeing him go through it. I'm hoping that the money raised from this challenge will find the cure for cancer so that no child or adult has to go through it again!

Any amount donated helps and is extremely appreciated! And while my goal is 100 miles and $500, if we pass those goals, I'd like to increase them to earn more for the research fund and to push myself to ride more. If anybody would like to sponsor me to ride for more miles than my goal (i.e. you'll donate X amount of money if I ride Y amount of additional miles), then I'm up for the challenge!
