I'm Riding For

In honor of Robert S. Conland

This year I am riding in honor of my late father-in-law, Robert S. Conland who died from cancer very suddenly and unexpectedly. I was fortunate to have him in my life and he treated me like a son not a son-in-law. Rob also was always my biggest financial supporter in every Great Cycle Challenge that I did. Over the past 2 decades I have been involved in raising money to fight children's cancer as well as awareness of how this disease affects children and their families. I have been involved in St Baldrick's, raising funds for service dogs, and have done this, The Great Cycle Challenge, multiple times. For health & personal reasons I had to take some years off from doing this ride. I am back to participate once again. I am giving my time, effort, and yes I'll be donating money as well. I ask that you take a few minutes of your time to make a donation; whether it is $5, $50, $500, or ANY amount.... it all adds up. It is a simple and easy way to help some of the most vulnerable of your fellow Americans

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year, and sadly, 5 - 8 children die of cancer EVERY DAY.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

I have about 120 more miles to reach my riding goal and 600 more dollars to reach my fundraising goal.
