My Story

So I signed up for this as this is a cause near and dear to my heart. As a pediatrician, I had several patients whose lives were saved due to cutting edge therapies that were available due to ongoing cancer research. Now retired, I have more time to devote to causes such as this. I have personally had 2 brushes with cancer in recent years (2 types, totally unrelated--go figure) and although my experience really wasn't too scary, I wouldn't wish it on anyone--especially a child. Please, if you can spare it, donate to this worthy cause. Government funding is being slashed and private donations may be the only way forward for a while. Thanks.
