I'm Riding For

Keegan Tuma, Robert L. Wright, Nicholas F. Conzo

When I started this 8yrs ago, I rode in honor of a young boy named Keegan Tuma, who has battled cancer since he was a baby. He is now 18 and continues to battle and, despite the occasional setbacks, engages in his love of cooking, making meals for his family, especially for his mom, who is battling her own medical challenges. I then added my dad, Robert L. Wright, in memoriam. He was my best friend, golf coach, and "all around good-guy." Despite being given only 3yrs at the time of his diagnosis, he went on to make orchid lovers out of people in Winter Park, FL, sing to his dog, and have martinis with his wife for 8yrs. Lastly, with sorrow 2 years ago, I added my father-in-law, Nicholas F Conzo, to my "riding for" page. He stepped into the "dad" role just 6months after my dad passed and had the joy of the Pop Pop role too. He had a profound impact on many people across various walks of life. It is because of these 3 gentlemen, as well as all of the people, especially children, who bravely fight and never give up, that I ride.
