My Story

This September, I am taking part in my 9th Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This is my 9th Summer of Healing, my way to express gratitude for the support I received when I broke my back. Riding was one of the main ways I exercised as I regained my ability to walk.

This year, I am dedicating my ride to Chalie Gould. My friend lost his battle with cancer this year, and I'll be sharing his spirit over every mile. He shared joy with so many, and I want to honor him with this small act.

Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it. I have lost friends and family to cancer and people I love are battling it now.

So, I am raising funds to support the Children's Cancer Research Fund. These funds will allow them to continue their work to develop life-saving treatments and find a cures for childhood cancer.

Please support me by donating to fund research for these kids and their families to give them the brighter futures they deserve.

I have been increasing the rides and starting the process of doing both am and pm rides so I can squeeze in rides between sunrise and sunset. We hit a funding mark $1234.00.
