I'm Riding For

Shana

I am riding in honor of my hero of a sister, Shana. She has spent the majority of her life saving others as a fire fighter and EMT. Cancer and illness has left her unable to continue her role as a first responder, but she has found a way to continue her service as recently being elected as the Fire Commissioner. She accomplished all of these amazing things while raising three children of her own and being a rock for so many around her. She will always be an inspiration to me. Sis, thank you for allowing me to do this ride in your honor and help save little lives. I love you.

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
