Heather McNamara

Heather was diagnosed with cancer at age 3. When she was 7 had a 23 hour surgery performed where they removed her non essential organs along with her tumor ane placed her essential organs back inside her. In June 1, 2024 she passed away of multisystem organ failure. She graduated high school in 2019, then went to college to become a Child Life Specialist. She also voulenteerd as an EMT in her community. Heather was always enthusiastic and eager to jump on every opportunity to continue to learn and grow as a provider. I am riding to continue to continue tell Heather's story and share her legacy. We miss our sunshine!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
