This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

When I was young, I had a bump on my head that was growing and my parent's biggest fear was their only daughter had cancer and they would lose her. I remember having scan after scan and finally, at Mayo Clinic in MN, they had answers and I was on my way to a very big surgery. Luckily, I did not have cancer but I met a lot of kids that did and seen a lot of very heartbroken parents. My very own roommate had leukemia and while we were playing and having popsicles together--she was in pain.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
