My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

    Well, the Great Cycle Challenge has come to an end for awhile. I enjoyed it immensely, although I didn’t receive many donations. Still, it was fun! Good exercise, great cause-So glad I had the opportunity to do this-this will likely not be the last time I participate in this cause! 😊🚴🙂🚴🏽‍♀️😀🚴‍♂️

    Well guys, it’s been a fun month! Took a long sight-seeing tour this evening on a piece of the bike trail I hadn’t been down yet. I was truly surprised at how far I had gone when I was done! Almost to my goal again😊

    Went to a very deserted piece of woods in my town today. Oddly, I wasn’t the only one there, which really surprised both of us😳😂I did find a bunch of good stuff, but I have to say, the condition it was in kind of broke my heart.Still, all in all, I had a productive afternoon😊

    Went on a Foraging Expedition this morning-and although I didn’t find quite what I was looking for, I did get a lot of good stuff💕I am up to 46 miles out of 50, I’ll probably have to up my goal again soon!
