My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

“Thank you for your donation. I was worried I would not be able to beat last year’s donations, but then your donation came through. I started doing this ride for my cousins daughter Kennedy who had cancer when she was two. She beat it and is doing fine now. Mickey always talks about his cancer and your cancer and you both have been an inspiration for me. On the days I don’t feel like trying to get more donations or going on a bike ride, I remember all the people who do not like to go for cancer treatments, but they keep going. So thanks again Patti”
