Liliana, my forever inspiration these 5 years!

This is Lily, she's soon age 8 and she's still fighting. S0 cute...and brave. Please help me help her and the (too) many little kids who need us, by supporting my ride with either a donation, or a share on Facebook or other social media, or just ask one or two friends to consider a good deed today. My Story

19 Aug 2025

[scroll down for more and for updates] This September, 2025 I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! ...my 5th year riding for Liliana, soon to be age 8!...she's grown and still fighting! See her age 4 picture on this page).

Why ride and help? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week. Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

* So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

* History: Since 2021, our annual goals have increased and been annually CRUSHED. I've been forever amazed at the generous support from all of you!

* I had some 2025 movement deficits last winter, but think I can do it again so I'm gearing up (ugh...get it?) with practice rides this summer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve >>>>>>>>>> ...and THANK YOU to all for reading this !

Your support will save little lives.

A couple of reminders:

1. DONATIONS now, ahead of September, DO count;

2. My pre-September training MILES will be zeroed out by GCC on 9-1 to be fair to all riders;

3. please know ANY support, ANY time helps these little kids fighting cancer. THANKS. But IF you're following me CLOSELY, then note that Wed. Sept 10th is MATCH DAY; I'll match the 1st $500 received AND a national group will MATCH all donations made that day...a TRIPLE donation day! So IF you ARE following me CLOSELY, watch for it and donate that day. Again, THANKS all.

I'm about 80 miles done (40%) but your support will keep the wheels spinnin'. The little kids and their families frequently comment that we provide much more than critical Children's Cancer Research. How can that be? They always cite the HOPE it gives them. For doing that, you deserve this: THANKS”
