Brice

Brice was one of my students before I retired. He is a role model in persistence and heart! I am so thankful he has been victorious over TWO kinds of leukemia, that he got to be a regular teenage boy (heaven help us all), & that he graduated high school in 2020! He now has a beautiful wife [also a "kid" of mine ;) ]. Now in 2026, they have an adorable 2-year-old daughter. I'm glad to participate in this cycling challenge so that other kids will have help to overcome cancer like Brice did.

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. I watched Brice fight 2 kinds of leukemia and I watched him WIN! I want more and more kids with cancer and their families to experience that victory.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

This cycling challenge supports Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer. I would be honored if you choose to make a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
