This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! This year will be my sixth year participating and raising funds.

Ironically my first-year riding in 2021, I signed up for this challenge and then about 6 weeks prior to the start, I myself was unexpectedly diagnosed with lymphoma. It was incredibly difficult to finish this as I was being treated, but I carried on thinking of how strong I needed to be and how much stronger the kids are that this ride represents. I will always ride as this means so much more to me now.

Cancer is a very ugly disease for anyone, but truly heartbreaking when thinking that it happens to innocent children who do not deserve this. I know now firsthand how difficult this really is.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
