Jarrett Mynear

Jarrett Mynear established the Joy Cart during his fight against cancer in order to bring joy to kids that spend so much time in the hospital. While alive, he would take donations of toys and crafts to kids, fighting cancer just like him, to bring a bit of joy and hope to them, letting them know someone cared. His legacy and the joy carry live on through his family and friends to this day in KY. You can read his inspiring full story on the Internet or in a book written with him. He is one of my heroes!

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
