This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer to support and encourage those in the fight of their life and to remember and honor loved ones lost by this evil called cancer.

I started cycling after an accident in 2010, it has become a way of life for me. For a short time, it replaced my sacred horse-riding time until I could get back into the equine saddle. I love the outdoors, and everything out there, chasing the sunset and discovering new incredible views is where I thrive and fill my soul on horse back or bike, both are dreamy! I am looking forward to the challenge.

I have had a pretty smooth year with no major injuries while working hard on mobility and strength. I am doing less miles this year as I am committed to maintain my regular strength training alongside my biking. As always I count on Ben at Salmonberry Cycle in Hillsboro to keep Flash running smooth. With over 10k miles an aging gal deserves only the best care. =0)
