I'm Riding For
Freddie the Fighter

I am riding in memory of "Freddie the Fighter". At 2 years old he gained his angel wings this past May, after fighting this terrible disease since he was just a few months old. He endured major surgeries, many rounds of chemo, blood & platelet transfusions, meds etc. in his short life. Let's live as Freddie did, full of joy, enthusiasm and determination. Please Help me spread awareness of childhood cancers and raise money for more research in childhood cancers.
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the "Great Cycle Challenge" to bring awareness of and help fight kids' cancer once again! Why? Cancer affects young and old! My mother Nancy, my brother Jack have passed away due to cancer. My husband Steve has beat cancer for 5 years. I am riding this year in memory of a friend's son, Freddie, who at just over 2 years old, gained his Angel WIngs this past May. He had the most positive attitude and fighting spirit! We should all live as Freddie did, full of joy, enthusiasm, determination and a smile on our face!
Cancer is the biggest killer of kids from disease in the USA. This will be my 7th year doing this, and very much appreciate my past sponsors! These past 6 years we have raised over $7,486! So, I am raising funds once again through the "Greater Cycle Challenge" to help these kids and support the "Children's Cancer Research Fund" to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancers. I strongly believe that Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
