This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

I've pledged to ride 50 miles in September and as a novice cyclist (😬), that part feels more daunting than raising the money! Lol I've been on my bike practicing for months so that i could specifically crush this challenge! I'm doing my best, but only averaging about 3 miles per ride. I could use some encouragement, and any and all advice from any fellow cyclists. (I've already learned some lessons the hard way: always wear the padded cycle shorts! Your hoohaw will appreciate it. 😒 And don't ride with your mouth open. I've swallowed my weight in bugs this summer!🙄) Any other tips from seasoned cyclists appreciated!

This is my second year doing the Great Cycle Challenge. Last year I signed up and didn't ride. This year, I really wanna do right for this worthy cause. Cancer hasn't directly touched my life, but it doesn't have to for me to feel the "F*CK CANCER" mentality. Especially when it has to do with kids. Probably one of the worst feelings a parent can feel is watching their child go through this and not be able to fix it for them and make it all better.

Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
