I'm absolutely speechless. I just received an update from the Great Cycle Challenge, and the news is bigger than I could have ever imagined.
On "Kick Cancer's Butt Day," riders, donors, and supporters from all across the country came together to raise a staggering $1,850,036 to fight kids' cancer. That's not a typo. Over $1.85 million in a single day.
The day was so massive that we completely blew past the initial $1.5 million matching donation pool! The response was so incredible that the matched funds were shared proportionally among all the riders.
Because of this amazing collective effort, $276.40 was added to our fundraising page, bringing our total to $617 raised so far! It's incredibly humbling to know that our little community here played a part in such a monumental day for these kids.
I'm still pedaling hard, with 16.8 miles of my 200-mile goal completed. Knowing that we have this incredible nationwide momentum behind us makes every mile feel even more impactful.

This amazing day proves that every single dollar and every share adds up to something truly extraordinary. We've made fantastic progress, but the ride isn't over, and I still have a goal of $2,500 to reach!
