I had hoped this week to finish my ride goals. Things don't always go as planned. As I lay in my bed for day 2 of a cold, I have tested 3x and I am negative for COVID-19, I realize that these kids can't make choices either. They can't get out and play when they are stuck in the hospital with test after test, tubes and other apparatus are connected to their bodies. They would rather be out in this world playing and exploring! Going to school even. Visiting with their friends. But they don't have that choice.
That is why I choose to ride for them. For a cure for this dreaded disease. It is my choice. Now I ask that you make a choice as well. Please donate to my ride to help fight kids' cancer. It will be the best investment you can make.

What a beautiful gift we are given with this ride today! Through the forest that has been untouched by too much 'progress; yet. The bike trail is the most beautiful part of the Paul Bunyan Trail. The pine trees of all species fill this area with many wonderful scents. The hardwoods that dot the forest are starting to change colors and will bring beauty to the eyes of the beholders.
We are lucky. How I wish I could bring this beauty and solitude to these kids who are fighting this horrible disease. I would love to see them ride their bikes on this trail, or even a small portion.
With our help, maybe they can in the future. The research that is going on right now will hopefully lead to a cure and a better way of life for all of those who struggle with cancer.
Thank you so much for caring enough to donate.
I rode the Paul Bunyan trail this late afternoon just for fun.
I was rewarded with the most amazing scents that I believe only Minnesota can give us at this time of year! The sweetest scents created for our joy.
Bringing joy in the sweetest way.
I think of these kiddos that can’t enjoy these little joys while they fight their cancer.
We can help with that by donating to this cause. I have done this ride for 8 years. GCC calls me a ‘legacy’.
I’m not done fighting for these kids. And I’m not giving up. Neither should anyone.
Go out and smell the sweet scents that are surrounding us wherever nature is and think of these children that are fighting for their lives. Donate to give them some hope and joy.
Thank you.
