I joined the Great Cycle Challenge (GCC) to ride my bike and raise money for children cancer research. I joined this endeavor in memory of my late uncle Karney D. who recently lost his battle with cancer as well as my sister Ruth G. who is winning her battle. My goal is 50 miles in the month of September to raise $500. I know it seems like such a small amount, but I hope to make a difference. This challenge is for cancer research, but each minute that I pedal, I am also exercising and trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Please join me by donating to my challenge.
