September in Frankfort is great! The crowds have thinned, the water is still warm, and the leaves are starting to turn. Thank you all for your encouragement and support for Children’s Cancer Research Fund. At a stage in my live where many routine activities are taxing, it’s good to know there are still ways I can contribute!
Our little town is all prepped for tomorrow’s , 2024 Ironman. Today’s little 3.5 mile was fun, but I felt a bit unseen with my recumbent… so I tried to stay away from the most crowded areas. But I saw swimmers in Lake Michigan, runners here and there and many, many, many bikers! Good luck to all! It’s a perfect day in Frankfort Michigan!
Saw many friends on today’s trek! Kids with cancer have nurses and doctors for friends… better than no one. But let’s get them back in the neighborhood playgrounds!
Day one of my challenge. How fortunate I am to have healthy children and grandchildren…. And to call Frankfort, Michigan my home.
