This is ride was so revolutionary. The cause began with me trying to raise awareness for children with cancer, but today as i write this my nation my mother land She is crying. As a Nepali i share my heartfelt condolences to all the ones who were killed in the protests. Furthermore i am lost of words, I felt the same way when Nepal had a massive earthquake in 2015. Back then 10000 + lost their lives. Today the earthquake is self created. It began by corrupt politicians who sucked my motherland dry. i am in-fact the product of the cause of that corruption. I left my home so young because i seen there was no hope. Same as these kids who suffer from cancer and they are so helpless and they don’t have hope in so many aspects. Life is about giving to others, that is how i try my best to be. I am not perfect but i do know regardless if it is cancer or corruption the goal is to get rid of bad habits and bring a positive change in the society and the world earth

Made it near the Refinery

It was a beautiful day for a ride. I made it all the way to the refinery. Lima had so many factories throughout the city. It is a very clean city as well, even the side trails had clear paths with no major repairs. Lima is very biker friendly city. I seen many older people riding around with their electric bikes.

First day of the challenge

It felt as if i had a late start. The i was 2 days late before my first ride . I was very nervous as i have never officially rode as a cyclist, but as I took upon this challenge I wanted to approach it very seriously and in full gear so all day I juggled work and running to many stores decking my bike up and myself with bike gear. I was ready finally after work, I grabbed my oldest 10 year old girl and we both went out to the park across our home. I was so proud of my baby for following me and keeping up with me as i was also proud of myself starting the challenge
