Thank you all so much
There are two charity rides I participate in each year. One in late spring and this one. This year I exceeded my fundraising goal and my mileage goal. Thankfully we had a dry month so i was able to crank out the miles.
I rode my last ride of the month today which was 17.3 miles. There are times I don’t want to get out and ride but when I think about who the ride is for, well ‘nuff said. I get out and ride. Ride for the children who should be enjoying life and not fighting for it. I hope daily that the doctors find a cure for this dreadful disease. Cancer has touched my immediate family, friends, colleagues, etc. that is why I ride.
So as I sit here fireside listening to some tunes enjoying an Oktoberfest beer, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your support means the world to me.
