Thank you all so much

There are two charity rides I participate in each year. One in late spring and this one. This year I exceeded my fundraising goal and my mileage goal. Thankfully we had a dry month so i was able to crank out the miles.

I rode my last ride of the month today which was 17.3 miles. There are times I don’t want to get out and ride but when I think about who the ride is for, well ‘nuff said. I get out and ride. Ride for the children who should be enjoying life and not fighting for it. I hope daily that the doctors find a cure for this dreadful disease. Cancer has touched my immediate family, friends, colleagues, etc. that is why I ride.

So as I sit here fireside listening to some tunes enjoying an Oktoberfest beer, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your support means the world to me.

Challenge Complete!

Finished up the ride today but will keep riding throughout the rest of the month. Thank you so much to all that donated to my campaign this month!

Less than halfway through September

So here we are less than halfway through the challenge and thanks to everyone who donated, I have sailed right past my fundraising goal and only have 83 miles remaining to reach my goal. I will more than likely pass my mileage goal as well! Never settle for less. Thanks to everyone for your donations, encouragement and well wishes!!!!
