As a cancer survivor, I am keenly aware of the fear and anxiety caused by this disease .
I cannot imagine those fears in parents upon finding a child of theirs is afflicted by cancer! Young children who should be living their lives playing, going to school and enjoying family and friends are spending their time in chemotherapy or subjected to radiation or hooked up to all sorts of devices just to keep them alive!
