720 miles down, 380 to go! The riding is right on track, but I still need some help with the fund raising. Childhood cancers are taking far to many of our young ones and robbing countless other of the normal childhoods they deserve. Logan, Lucas, and Samuel still fight on. And as long as they are fighting I will continue to ride. But there are so many others that are waging their own battle.
I am trying to raise an additional $1,700 in the next 11 days. That would put my 10 total at $100,000.00. If I do not get there it will still have been a successful year, but $100k sure does have a nice ring to it.
Please help support a very worthy cause. If you have already donated, God bless you. If you have not, please consider it. Very donation, no matter the size, helps tremendously.
I have included a photo of a couple of the other children battling, and as for me, it is back to the roads to continue to kick cancer's butt!!
Leave it to me to misspell party, but you get the idea. It's on! I know there have been a lot of people waiting for today, and I thank you for your patience, but I have one more ask; please share, share, share. We need to get this seen by as many people as possible. Share on Facebook and X and Instagram. Share through email. You guys have never let me down and I can't see that happening this year either. And in advance, let me thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Went 45 miles this morning. What a glorious day for riding. Got to catch up with one of my newer friends. Marc Adams of Marc Adam's School of Woodworking and Time Honored Crafts. He has an amazing place right here in Johnson County. I was fortunate enough to meet he and his wife a couple of years ago during one of my rides for the GCC. They were very kind and helped support the cause. Then I rode out to an old abandoned bridge. Live to take a break there on the bridge just watching the creek! 60 miles in total. Just two days away from "Kick Cancer's Butt" day. Fire up!

37 miles this morning. 18.5 out and 18.5 back. The out was easy. . . too easy. That's should have been my first clue that trouble was lying ahead. As soon as I turned, that headwind smacked me right in the face! It was brutal, but it is done and I am 37 miles closer to my 1,100 mile goal.
Fire up for Wednesday! No donations until then. 😁 then we will hit it HARD!!!
Take care,
Dirk
