I just raised $100 to fight kids' cancer and achieved DEFENDER LEVEL in the challenge! Thank you so much for your support.
No one told me that this challenge would dredge up how much losing my sister this year would wash over me again.
It's not even quite 4 months since throat cancer stole her from my life. From her husband and daughter. From our Mother.
Adding insult to injury, she died on Mother's Day. I could not go home and tell our Mother, "Happy Mother's Day". All I could do was hug her and tell her: "I love you".
This challenge seems so much harder to motivate myself to get done. I am trying. Please understand I am doing my best. So, if the miles are coming slow, just know the grief isn't.
