I'm still adding miles as long as the challenge is going. Please consider donating $5 to my fundraiser to raise money for childhood cancer research.
It was a 48°F start to my 17 mile morning ride. I started with a jacket, gloves and a neck gaiter. 🥶 I warmed up quick when I started the inclines.
My first official ride for the 2024 Great Cycle Challenge. It was 17 miles total, with 761ft of elevation change.
This might be my longest single bike ride (as an adult, at least). I got to wear my new 2024 #GCCUSA jersey, earned for raising $500. Now to reach my goal of raising $1000!
Out warming up for September.
Donated platelets for the first time yesterday. Happy to have another way to help those dealing with cancer.
Next month, I am riding 50 miles in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Right now, more children in the U.S. lose their lives to cancer than any other disease...
That's why I'm riding to raise funds for research to end childhood cancer and save little lives. ❤️
