I couldn't resist one more ride with the biking club. I'm still slower than most riders in that group, but they are supportive, and my endurance is slowly improving.
Again, a huge thank you to all who donated to Children's Cancer Research. You inspire me.
Let's keep moving forward together! 🚲
This afternoon’s ride may be my final one for this month and this challenge. Thank you to all who supported this cause! Your generosity makes a huge difference. I'm grateful to have pedaled over 100 miles. Thank you for sharing this journey with me. 💛
I took advantage of the beautiful weather and quiet today, biking over twenty miles and enjoying the sights and sounds. I glimpsed alligators, heard Pileated woodpeckers, saw and heard fish jump, and smelled the scent of pine needles. Wishing everyone a peaceful weekend.
Saturday, I rode 15.4 miles at Noxubee refuge before the rain. I’m feeling thankful to be able to ride my bike, enjoy time outdoors, and breathe. Moving in nature is balm for the soul. Perspective is everything. #cycling #nature #breathe
10.5 miles in 47 minutes this Saturday at Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge. Nature always delivers sanctuary from some of the extra noises and strife. #sunset #breathe #peaceful
A beautiful, mostly gravel, 12.5-mile ride full of wildlife this evening at Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge. Please consider donating this Wednesday, where all online donations will be matched up to $1,500,000!
While we wait for Wednesday, September 10, enjoy a spectacular alligator yawn…

It’s game-day in Starkville, cloudy, and fair in the mid-70’s. Hence, it’s a perfect day for riding (16.7 miles) at Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge. This is one of my favorite spots there. #peace
First official ride this evening- 15.23 miles. Noxubee Refuge delivered beautiful scenery again as a reward.
Another lovely sunset and lake reflections! The temperatures are cooling, seasons are changing, and the Great Cycle Challenge officially starts on September 1. #gratitude #reflectivemoments #keepmoving
A very enjoyable evening ride, seeing the lake from a new perspective, encountering wild pigs, and admiring the birds and trees.
