It feels so great to finish my 150-mile challenge for these brave kids fighting Cancer ❤️🩹 I love you all, and I will be praying!!
I rode another 20 miles tonight on the greenway. I was hoping to finish my last 25 miles, but dusk came around too fast! This was my fastest ride, yay! My husband was sweet and kissed my ear; all he tasted was the salt, lol. Five miles to go!!!
I started the ride at OP Schnabel and rode 12 miles out, passing Valero and places I had never been with too many hills but new scenery. I woke up late, so I was riding in the heat, and that was not fun or smart! I feel good about accomplishing 25 miles and only having 25 left of the 150. I am very excited that the thousand-dollar goal was reached. I love my family and friends who are family. I love the generosity for these beautiful babies & Kids who are fighting for their lives. They are pretty amazing. God is good.
I did a slow 20 miles throughout our subdivision. My old body is feeling all these miles I have completed. Today marks 100 miles in four days. I only have 50 miles to go. Yay!!!!!
This is my third ride. I was exhausted from yesterday's fall, but I kept going, and my goal of 22 miles was accomplished!
My 2nd ride started robust and faster ❤️ I felt excellent but sore from my 30 miles yesterday! I got caught in the dark on the greenway without lights. I didn't judge the time dusk well. I rode off the path, fell, skinned my knee, bruised a few places, and my chain fell off! It was so much fun. I'm getting lights on my bike tomorrow!!!! I stood up quickly, fixed my chain & continued riding. I got lost in the dark and used my GPS to reach my vehicle. It was an exciting night. I still rode 28 miles!!
My first ride was slow with all the pedestrians, animals & other riders on the greenway. Getting out there felt good, and riding for these kids fighting cancer felt good. It's an honor to ride for them and hopefully raise the $1,000. I have a lot of riding to do!!!
