And so it begins (for the 10th time)

Aloha my dear friends and family. I am so excited for today marks my TENTH Great Cycle Challenge starting line.

As such, I am embarking on yet another journey of compassionate solidarity to those affected by childhood cancer. Let’s “kick cancer butt!”, which is, of course the ‘kids’ version of bumper stickier for “fuck cancer!” … sport whichever one works for you.

This year, especially, I am motivated to eradicate this burden from our lives once and for all! I am inspired by a little hero I already admired BEFORE her fight against cancer. Now that she is in the thick of it, oh dear, how my blood curls!!!

Riding in paradise

So, I have the good fortune of residing in the rock in the middle of the ocean. “Paradise“ as many, describe it. And it is, indeed, as advertised.

Truth is: “Paradise“ is all around us. The beautiful planet in which we live has so much to offer that to be sad is to realize we don’t have enough time to enjoy it all.

This is my 10th year writing the Great Cycle Challenge because life is indeed too short for all of us, let alone for children with cancer. There is more to see and more to experience. I want more time and I want kids to have more time to live fully and blissfully and not spend another minute fighting for their lives.
