We Are Riding For

Stephen Ang

Stephen Ang

This year, Heart on Wheels dedicates our ride to the memory of our dear friend and colleague, Stephen Ang, who was taken from us far too soon by cancer. Stephen was a true adventurer and creative spirit: a musician, artist, and world traveler whose curiosity led him from hot air balloons and scuba depths to ancient wonders across the globe. He taught those around him that unexpected turns and "mistakes" are simply intriguing alternatives, living with an ingenuity and artistic passion that touched everyone at the museum. As we pedal toward our 3,000-mile and $5,000 goals to fight childhood cancer, we carry Stephen’s adventurous heart and creative energy in every single mile.

Our Challenge

  • 20 Aug 2026

This September, Heart on Wheels is taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So we are raising funds through our challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support us by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

Your support will change little lives.

    Thank you.
