This September I am riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids’ cancer. Each year nearly 400,000 children worldwide are diagnosed and about 15,000 families in the U.S. hear that their child has cancer. Survival rates have improved from around 58% in the 1970s to about 85% today, but too many children are still lost and many survivors face long-term health issues.

Cancer touches almost everyone. About 1 in 3 people know someone who has been diagnosed. That is why I have committed to ride 400 miles this month, to raise awareness and support research that gives kids a better future. Every mile I ride and every dollar donated goes toward making that possible. If you can, please support my ride.
