This is my second year riding - and am motivated to tackle the challenge again!

I've hit a point in my life where helping others is a high, high priority -- and after being a teacher and mentor for 3.5 years, I definitely want to help the next generation. There are so many ways to give back. I chose an organization where I can challenge myself both physically and mentally while helping out a great cause.

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
