I'm Riding For

My son Wade age 7

Wade will never know that he is one of the lucky ones. He underwent 2.5 years of chemotherapy treatments, and it was terrifying and traumatic for the family. There are so many children that had terrible reactions to treatment, extended hospitalizations due to infection. And way too many that lost their battles. I ride to remember and honor these children. I ride hoping that the money raised every year will make a difference in the future for all the families that will have to go through this journey. Please help by donating anything you can. This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
